National Nurses Week is celebrated during the second week of May in honor of all nurses' professional dedication and contributions to providing health-care services to Canadians.

A nurse plays a greater role in a senior's life than just the administration of medication and tending to health-care needs. It is their compassion, kindness, humor and humanity that make a difference in a senior's day. Their support helps our aging population maintain wellness and independence while enjoying an active lifestyle in their retirement years.
